Little String Bean

Poor Olivia.
She has the most thin, scraggly, stringy hair. No matter how much I wash it and brush it, she always looks like her hair hasn't been washed or combed in a week.
She didn't get this from me. I was born with very thick, natural curly hair, which was just peachy in the early '90's, I had the biggest hair around! But now...oh boy! If I don't blow dry and straighten my hair, I have the biggest, frizziest afro! What I would give to have thin, straight hair!!!

And Sarah, is my little mini-me. She had a head full of ringlets as a toddler, and now has thick wavy hair which is always a headache to try and fix before school each morning.

(She was so cute, I couldn't decide on just one picture)

So, I decided to give Olivia a haircut. With the help of her favorite guacamole chips, she sat pretty still!
And I think it turned out adorable!

Random Tips of the Day:

Dunkin Donuts coffee is not that good. Resist the urge to buy it, even if it is on sale.

If you go to the store without make-up on, you WILL see someone you know.

The Super Bowl rocked and Super Tuesday, well... I won't go there. I will keep my blog politically-free :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

You, Becca and Tiff are going to have to give me hair cutting lessons when my baby needs his or her first! You did a great job and it looks very cute!

So sweet! My Hannah and I both have that fine hair that looks a mess no matter what! :-)

I think that is one reason God gave me boys instead of girls. I would probably ruin a girl's hair! You did so good...but I think she's one of those little girls that looks cute no matter what.

She is so adorable Liz - I mean, they both are! I had no idea you had naturally curly hair - good work with the straightening job. I have crazy hair that I have never mastered:)

We have those same turquoise cupcake jammies for Elsa!
P.S. Isn't big hair making a comeback?

So I was impatient and hit the "publish your comment" button twice before it worked. Oops.

Hey, just a little secret...Mike will win a nice chunk of change even if he comes in last so make sure your hubby claims that promised cup of coffee!

I never thought of the food when giving a haircut trick! I'm gonna use that - cutting my toddler's hair was, well, NOT wiggle free to say the least. I'll just have to watch that I don't get hair all over his food.
