What a tough day.

Not having known your brother, I can't contribute fun memories to make you smile, but I can tell you that from what you've written about him in previous posts he seems like he was an unbelievable guy. What a blessing to have a brother like him. It' devastating to no longer be able to make new memories with him, but so wonderful to be able to enjoy and remember the times that God did bless you with.

It's good to remember. I'm glad you posted this. We can strive to leave such a legacy as his. Life is short and precious, and this is a poignant reminder.

Sharon,
You are so thoughtful. Your words are so honest and caring, thank you. To be honest, I didn't really expect any one to leave a comment on this. In fact, after I posted this, I realized how awkward it must make people feel...like what do you say?

But thank you
"my blogging friend" :)

I think you are totally tubular!

What a beautiful tribute to your brother! Sharon's comment says it all... and what a great reminder this post is that life is so short... and we are here for only a "blink of an eye."
Blessings, peace & comfort prayed for you as you remember the wonderful times you had with your dear brother... and look forward to the moments you'll have with him again in heaven!
